Rana Daggubati’s Tamil Movie ‘Kadaan’s Trailer Is Out

The trailer of the actor Rana Daggubati’s Tamil movie Kadaan was released on March 3rd, Wednesday. It was released on the occasion of World Wildlife Day, as the movie is all about preserving wildlife and the conflict between humans and elephants. It’s one of the much-awaited movies that the audience is looking forward to, as it’s the first trilingual movie of 2021.  

The main lead Actor Rana Dagubati took to Twitter to release the trailer of the Tamil movie Kadaan with the caption,” Get ready, the BIG fight is coming your way” and the hashtag of Save the elephants. The movie is set to release on March 26, 2021.

The upcoming movie is directed and written by Prabhu Solomon, It stars Rana Daggubati, Vishnu Vishal, Pulkit Samrat, Shriya Pilgaonkar and Zoya Hussain in important roles. As a multilingual movie, It was simultaneously shot in Tamil as Kadaan, Telugu as Aranya and in Hindi as Haathi Mere Saathi.

Rana Daggubati, as the lead actor, plays a very different and intense role as a conservationist. He lives in the forests and fights to projects the elephants in the jungle. Its shown in the trailer that how he deals with forest encroachment and leads a war against the powerful who are plundering the wealth of forest for monetary gains. the three minutes trailer leaves you on the edge with its intense Background music and scenes.

You can see the amazing work the production team has done on the VFX from the trailer. As produced by Eros International, the film has extensive VFX sequences, which have been done by Prana Studios. It the same studio that has worked for Hollywood films such as Life Of Pi and Thor.

The film was initially scheduled to have a nationwide release on April 2nd 2020, but it was rescheduled due to Covid Pandemic. Then as the next released date was finalised for January 14 but even that didn’t work out.

The cinematography is done by AR Ashok Kumar. while the film has music by Shanthanu Moitra and edited by Bhuvan Srinivasan.
