ARMY has been waiting forever for their idols to get their deserved stage at Grammys. 2021 seems to be the year for it to finally happen!
Grammys released the list of performers one by one, first on twitter and in their website, on March 7. ARMY held their breath waiting and as soon as the ‘It’s going to be Dynamite!’ tweet came out it was chaos and cheers! BTS will be performing at 63rd Annual Grammys Award function, which will be held virtually on March 14, 8 PM ET on CBS.
Grammys being hosted by the famous comedian, television host and writer Trevor Noah. The stage is all-set to welcome the K-Pop Megastars and ARMY cannot stop gushing over this achievement on Twitter. There are 4 hashtags that are trending since the performer’s announcement- #WhatYoongiWantsYoongiGets, #BTSGrammyPerformers, #BTSPavedTheWay and #BTSHistoryMakers. They take us on a nostalgic ride filling the timeline, where the rapper Yoongi expressed his wish to go to Grammys, being a nominee, getting an exclusive performance on stage and even winning an award. He expressed his wishes on various interviews and live streams over the years. Three out of four wishes have been accomplished.
ARMY can’t stop enthusing over their idols receiving this honor and expressing their fandom solidarity, happiness and simply celebrating BTS’ accomplishments!
BTS are the ONLY Korean artists ever to be invited to Music’s Biggest Night, the first to present an award, to perform, to be nominated and now, the first artists to get a solo performance stage! This amazing news came right before Yoongi’s birthday (9th March)- making this honor much more special to group members and fandom across the world. I mean talk about pre-b’day bash!
Other artists performing on Grammy’s include- Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, Cardi B, Doja Cat, Post Malone and others. Don’t forget to tune in to CBS on March 14 to watch BTS make history, AGAIN!
