Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati has reported a remarkable performance in the first half of 2023, delivering a total of 34,976 motorcycles. This represents a notable 5 percent increase compared to the same period last year and sets a new record for the brand’s best-ever deliveries in the first half of a calendar year.

Ducati’s home country of Italy proved to be its largest market globally, with 6,639 motorcycles delivered, showing a remarkable growth of 10 percent over the previous year. Following closely behind, the United States emerged as the second-largest market, with 4,505 bikes delivered, indicating a significant 11 percent increase over 2022.

Meanwhile, Germany secured the third position with a commendable 13 percent growth, delivering a total of 4,217 motorcycles.Among Ducati’s diverse range of motorcycles, the Multistrada V4 proved to be the most popular model, with an impressive 6,382 units delivered worldwide between January and June 2023. The Monster followed closely as the second most sought-after model line, with 4,299 units delivered globally.

The Scrambler 800 family secured the third spot with 3,581 bikes delivered during the same period.Francesco Milicia, Ducati’s VP of Global Sales and Aftersales, expressed his satisfaction with the brand’s performance, stating, “This first half-year was Ducati’s best ever in terms of deliveries. We reached a record 34,976 bikes delivered, proving that our passionate clients continue to appreciate our product range, which is now wider than ever.

The supply bottlenecks experienced last year are now over, but the global competition in the market is more intense in the post-Covid era, also because of better product availability.” The brand’s success in overcoming supply challenges and meeting customer demand highlights its resilience and commitment to providing high-quality motorcycles to enthusiasts worldwide.
