MG Motors India Celebrates Record Sales: Over 29,000 Units Sold in H1 2023

MG Motors India has reason to rejoice as it announces a remarkable sales milestone, having sold more than 29,000 units of passenger vehicles in the first half of 2023 in the country. The automaker achieved a substantial year-on-year growth of 21 per cent, surpassing the 24,000 units sold during the same period last year. This impressive feat is attributed to the strong performance of the 2023 MG Hector and the ZS EV, both of which played a significant role in contributing to this success.

Outstanding Sales Figures in March and June 2023

MG Motors India experienced its highest sales ever in the first half of 2023, with a total of 6,051 units retailed in the month of March. Furthermore, in June 2023, the company sold 5,125 units of passenger cars in the Indian market, demonstrating a commendable year-on-year growth of 14 per cent.

2023 MG ZS EV: Pioneering Electric Mobility in India

In addition to its impressive sales performance, MG Motors India also introduced the updated 2023 MG ZS EV in the Indian market. Priced at Rs. 27.89 lakh (ex-showroom), this electric vehicle now boasts a level 2 ADAS safety suite, featuring advanced functionalities like forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, speed assist system, and lane functions. Powering the ZS EV is a robust 50.3kWh battery pack, offering an impressive driving range of 461km on a fully charged battery.
