The G20 Summit is poised to kick off on September 9 in the capital city of India, New Delhi. The two-day summit will witness the participation of representatives from member and guest nations, converging to deliberate on a range of economic reforms and global issues.
2. Commemorative Closure: Leaders’ Declaration
Scheduled to conclude on September 10, the G20 Summit will culminate with the adoption of a comprehensive G20 Leaders’ Declaration. This declaration will encapsulate the key priorities and consensus points garnered through intensive discussions during the summit meetings.
3. Venue and Ancillary Visits
The prestigious event is slated to transpire at the ‘Bharat Mandappam’ located within the ITPO Convention Centre, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. In addition to the primary summit venue, foreign delegates will also tour prominent locations in the national capital, including Rajghat, IARI Pusa, and NGMA (Jaipur House).

To ensure stringent security measures during the G20 Summit in Delhi, a strategic deployment of 69 explosive detection dogs from the police K9 squad is in place. This vigilant team includes 13 skilled dogs sourced from the Indian Army’s RVC (Remount and Veterinary Corps) unit.
