iKON’s New Single ‘Why Why Why’ Tops iTunes Charts Around The World

On Wednesday, March 3, The South Korean band iKON made their comeback after 13 years with their new digital single ‘Why Why Why’. The song has been ranking high on Korea’s real-time music charts since its release. And now it has topped the iTunes charts in various countries across the world.

This new single of iKON has sent their surprised fans into a frenzy when the official music video of ”Why Why Why” was released on iKon’s YouTube Channel. On March 4, “Why Why Why” has hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs charts in at least 10 different regions around the world, which included Thailand, Indonesia, Peru, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Qatar, Vietnam, and the Philippines.

The South Korean band, iKON, is one of the most followed K-pop bands. The official music video of the song on YouTube garnered more than 1.1 million views in just 4 hours of its release. As of now, The song ”Why Why Why” has more than 2.8 million views and 624k likes with 122k comments on YouTube. The statistics are expected to rise greatly as the video is gaining more and more views in the upcoming days.

The video clip of the new single of iKON features Chan, Song, Jun-ne, DK, Jay and Bobby dancing and travelling from one place to another with amazing music and singing.

According to reports, iKON member rapper Bobby has composed and written the song along with producers LP, CHOICE37, Sonny, and LIL G. The song “Why Why Why” is iKON’s first comeback in over a year since 2020’s Dive.

Ahead of the release of the song, the six-member group iKON, in an interview so talk about their latest one. Kim Donghyuk explained about the song that talks about lovers breaking up. It’s a sad song that accepts the breakup by continuing to ask yourself and your lover why because you can’t understand the reason you’re separating. he also further revealed that he had become emotional and cried while recording the song
