Taapsee Pannu Finally Speaks About I-T Raids, Says ‘Not So Sasti’ Anymore

Actor Taapsee Pannu has finally opened after 3 days of Income-tax raids that took place on her property this week. The actor took to Twitter to broke her silence on the intense raids by the Income Tax Department’s officials.
Taapsee penned down three points regarding the three-day-long raid, she even reacted to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharamna’s statement of the alleged income tax raids that took place in 2013.
Taapsee clarified on Twitter that there is no bungalow in her name in Paris or receipts of ₹5 crore payment to her. She even said that there was no raid in 2013 on her property either, as she denied the allegations that FM Nirmala Sitharaman made against her.
She said in her tweet, “3 days of intense search of 3 things primarily 1. The keys of the “alleged” bungalow that I apparently own in Paris. Because summer holidays are around the corner. 2. The “alleged” receipt worth 5 crores to frame n keep for future pitching coz I’ve been refused that money before 3. My memory of 2013 raid that happened with me according to our honourable finance minister P.S- “not so sasti” anymore.”
Finance Minister had commented on the matter, said, “First of all, I am not commenting on any A or B individual. (But) since the names were taken, (I want to say) the very same names were raided in 2013

The searches conducted by the IT department were a part of a tax evasion probe against Phantom Films and was carried out across 30 locations in Mumbai and Pune on Wednesday on March 3. The raids were made at the homes and offices of Taapasee and Anuraag Kashyap as well as partners.
