Unveiling the Features of Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro

Chinese tech giant, Xiaomi, is slated to make an exciting entrance with its soon-to-be-unveiled flagship series, encompassing the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro. Although the company has not made an official announcement yet, information regarding key features such as battery life and camera details have been leaked.
Industry insider Digital Chat Station, through a post on Weibo, indicates that the forthcoming Xiaomi 14 smartphone will boast a 4,860mAh battery and compatibility with 90W wired charging. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 14 Pro is set to raise the bar with a sizable 5,000mAh battery and compatibility with 120W wired charging. Both models are also touted to support 50W wireless charging.
This represents a significant enhancement from their predecessor, the Xiaomi 13, which features a smaller 4,500mAh battery and only supports 67W fast charging.
The camera setup on the new Xiaomi 14 series is rumored to retain the 1-inch main sensor from the previous iteration, according to various reports.
Further details about the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro have been uncovered through the IMEI database website. The standard variant, the Xiaomi 14, has been listed with model numbers 23127PN0CC and 23127PN0CG, while the Pro variant has model numbers 23116PN5BC and 23116PN5BG. The two model numbers for each device will distinguish between the Chinese and Global versions.
Recent reports suggest that both the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro may come equipped with a USB-C port, supporting the USB 3.2 standard. Additionally, they may offer enhanced optical zoom capabilities, according to Digital Chat Station. The rumors also hint towards the inclusion of a periscope camera setup on both models.
Moreover, speculation is rife about the possibility of the Xiaomi 14 Pro being powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
While the release date has yet to be confirmed, Xiaomi is predicted to launch both the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro later this year, making them one of the most eagerly awaited smartphones in the tech industry.
