BLACKPINK is a South Korean girl group that debuted on 8 August 2016. BLACKPINK is the highest-charting female k-pop act on both Billboard 200 and Billboard 100. They are the only and first group to top Billboard’s Emerging Artist Chart.

They have registered themselves as the only female k-pop group to have 4 number one singles on Billboard Chart. The BLACKPINK was also the only female k-pop to perform at Coachella as well.

Their song “DDU DU DDU DU” became the most-viewed Korean music video in the first 24 hours on YouTube. BLACKPINK has collaborated with many international celebrities such as SELENA GOMEZ, LADY GAGA, and CARDI B.

JISSO

Jisso was born in the year 1995 and is currently 26 years old. Before she became a member of the BLACKPINK, she made her television debut as an actress. She is a singer, actress, and model. JENNIE

Jennie was born in the year 1996. She is a singer and rapper in the BLACKPINK. Jennie is fluent in Korean, English, and Japanese language. She moved to New Zealand at the age of 8 and stay there for a long time. She is also known for her single song named SOLO. Which was critically acclaimed by the critics.

ROSE

Rose was born in the year 1997 and is currently 24 years old. She is a Newzealand born Australian singer. Rose is a member of BLACKPINK which was the highest trending female k-pop group in the year 2019. On March 2021 she debuted as a solo singer with a single album named R which received a lot of positive reviews from the listeners. Rose is also a well-known celebrity on social media as well as she has over 40 million followers on Instagram.

LISA

Lisa was born in Thailand in the year 1997. In the year 2016, she was added to the BLACKPINK group, where she is a Thai rapper, singer, dancer, and model. She is also a fashion model and has appeared on HARPER’S BAZAAR cover. Lisa is the most followed member of the group on Instagram with nearly 50 million followers.
