Fans celebrate as BTS member Jimin’s song Filter completes 1 year on Billboard chart

BTS’ Jimin, charming singer has proven once again he is the king of records. Last year on March 14, Jimin’s song Filter from the groups fourth studio album, Map Of The Soul:7 has crossed over 115 million views. This was a record set as the first and only Korean solo song by idol group to achieve this. These streams were on the Korean online music store and music streaming service Melon.
Now, on March 16, Jimin’s solo, Filter has completed one whole year on the Billboard world Digital Song Sales chart. And it doesn’t end with that. Jimin’s non-album solo song, Promise has reached around 263 million streams on the Soundcloud. Keywords like ‘Congratulations Jimin’, ‘Proud of you Jimin’ and ‘Filter 1 Year Billboard’ are taking over on Twitter worldwide. ARMY are ecstatic over this.
Filter was actually released on February 21, 2020. It was the eighth track of the Album, Map Of The Soul:7. The song has Latin vibes and of course Jimin’s angelic vocals give it a sensuous feel. Jimin has performed the song, Filter on the BTS’ online concert.
BTS is now ready to make their appearance on the Variety show, You Quiz On The Block’s 99th episode. This special episode featuring BTS will air on TV on March 24 at 8:40 PM KST.
