How Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, and Hwasa Became a Mamamoo Member

Mamamoo is a South Korean girl’s group band that was formed in the year 2014 by RBW Entertainment.
The band has been recognized for bringing retro and jazz as theme concepts in their songs with a strong vocal performance.

The name of the group “Mamamoo” is named after when a baby babbles. Before making their official debut they collaborated with several k-pop artists their first collaboration video was released in the year 2014 a few months ago before making their debut with the title track called DON’T BE HAPPY with Bumkey. The group made its official debut with the song known Mr. Ambiguous.

The band includes four-member named: Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, and Hwasa.

SOLAR

KIM YONG-SUN better known by her stage name Solar is a South Korean singer-songwriter and the leader of the girl’s group MAMAMOO. Before making an official debut she was a flight attendant and there only she was discovered by the agency after singing a song for them. She is the main vocalist in the group and in India 2018 she released her first solo extended play called Solar’s Emotion which was a huge hit and was well praised by the critics. Solar opened a YouTube channel in the year 2019 and release the video there currently she has around 3 million subscribers. And in the year 2020, she made her official solo debut with the song SPIT IT OUT.

MOONBYUL

Moon Byul-Yi is better known as is a South Korean singer, rapper songwriter, dancer, and radio host, and member of the famous kpop group MAMAMOO. She is the main Rapper in the group and her rap skills have been well praised by the music critic. She has been well praised for her corporation with the kpop of the music industry has been credited with over 65 songs.
While signing with RBW she wanted to be a vocalist and give an audition for that also but later she changed to become a rapper instead. She wrote the rap version of the song Piano Man and choreographed all the songs of Mr. Ambiguous.

WHEEIN

Jung Whee-in better known as WHEEIN she is a South Korean singer in the famous k-pop band group MAMAMOO.
She is a friend of Her group member Hwasa since middle school. She is a former MBK Entertainment training.
Well apart from being a member of the group, she has made her solo debut, was in the year 2021 with the song WHERE ARE WE NOW.

HWASA

Ahn Hye-jin better known as Hwasa she is a member of the South Korean group MAMAMOO she is a singer, rapper, songwriter, composer, and television personality. She is a huge fan of Rihanna and she has been nominated for 100 most beautiful faces of 2018. She is also been nominated for Rookie female of the year in varieties of nominations in the year 2018. She also made her solo debut in the year 2021.
