K-Pop star band BTS to release new single Butter on May 21, 2021

K-Pop sensation and global stars BTS surprised fans by confirming a comeback in May with new digital single “Butter.” The Grammy nominated group have dropped a livestream countdown to the amazing news on yesterday evening.
More than 800,000 fans have tuned in to watch the surprise video with a small animated cube of butter in the shape of a heart with BTS’ logo as it melted down. The video is bright yellow and filled with sizzling sounds in kitchen and washes away to the display of the word “butter” with the release date and time. The group’s second English language single is set to release on May 21 at 1 PM KST (9:30 AM IST). According to a press release from BTS’ label Big Hit Music, the song is a “dance pop track with smooth and charismatic charm of BTS.”
At the start of this year, BTS has announced new compilation album BTS, the best, which will release in June and has released it’s lead single “Film Out” on 1st of April. The single “Butter” will follow the group’s 2020 sensational hit single “Dynamite” and the record-breaking album from November 2020 EP BE.
The group were also recently announced as Louis Vuitton’s latest global brand ambassadors with the brand calling them “one of the most renowned and influential groups in the world.”
