BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan in Korean), also known as the Bangtan Boys is a South Korean Boy Band with seven members- RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook. This band started forming in 2010 under then Big Hit Entertainment, now HYBE Labels. They debuted in 2013 with their single album 2 Cool 4 Skool. They co-write and co-produce most of their input. Starting as a hip-hop group, their style in music has evolved and now includes a variety of genres. The lyrics for their songs focuses on personal and social views also including mental health, troubles faced by the youth, loss of identity in life, journey of self-discovery and self-love. Their work also includes references to literary works and many psychological concepts. The band has released several albums in Korean and Japanese languages and also released two singles in English up until now.
