A rising Indonesian girl group, StarBe, has set their sights on achieving global recognition akin to their role models, BLACKPINK. On the notable date of August 30, StarBe took center stage at the Chungmu Art Hall in Seoul, hosting a showcase that highlighted their burgeoning presence in the Korean entertainment scene.

Hailing from the vibrant city of Bandung, StarBe comprises four talented members: Abelle, Shella, Kezia, and Chelsea. Their musical journey commenced on December 6, 2019, with the debut single “Aku Lengkap Denganmu.” During the recent showcase extravaganza, Shella, one of the group’s members, passionately shared her aspiration for StarBe to be recognized as the “BLACKPINK of Indonesia.”

The deep admiration StarBe holds for BLACKPINK is evident, as they draw inspiration from the powerhouse group’s electrifying stage performances. The members of StarBe yearn to captivate audiences with the same level of energy and charisma that BLACKPINK exudes.

The spotlight on StarBe intensified following the release of their track “Touch The Sky” last October, a release that garnered widespread attention. Beyond their musical endeavors, StarBe aims to introduce the rich tapestry of Indonesian culture to Korean audiences, fostering a cross-cultural exchange that transcends borders.

Stepping onto Korean soil with a determination to learn from the heart of the K-Pop industry, StarBe is embracing various opportunities to showcase their talents. A pivotal event on their horizon is the highly anticipated 2023 Asia Song Festival, scheduled for September 8, 2023. At this prestigious event, StarBe will proudly unveil their latest creation, a song titled “BANG,” aiming to mesmerize and make their mark on the global stage.
