2021 Grammys failed to recognize BTS once again; Army trends #Scammys in response

BTS was nominated for the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the Grammys for their song “Dynamite”. Unfortunately, they lost the award to Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande’s “Rain On Me”. Even after their loss, they still bought an electric performance late on the long show. Imagine if they’d won the Award! Their sharp and colorful suits, energetic and flawless dance moves has literally brought Grammys to life after the lengthy broadcast of the show.

The fan base ARMY was not pleased with the Recording Academy, they felt BTS’ popularity has been taken advantage of. BTS was invited to perform on the stage without properly awarding them (which is an actual problem with Grammys). The fans even got #scammys trending on Twitter after the loss.

The members took to Weverse to express their feelings. J-Hope has adorably said “I Love You” to the fans. Suga said, “Let’s work harder this year”, while RM said, “Don’t forget whether we got the Grammy or not, we already got what we wanted. We got you so that means we got everything”. These further broke the hearts of millions of fans who were confident BTS would win this year.

Watch their rocking performance below:

It is undeniable that BTS made history even before they set foot at Grammys and continue their legacy with every step. But after that eccentric performance, we could say Grammys need BTS more then BTS need the Grammys.

Although, sincere and hearty congrats to the winners Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande because they’ve really done a great job for “Rain on Me”.
