BTS Has Officially claimed A New Guinness World Record Title With “Dynamite”
BTS has made history again. They have officially claimed another Guinness World Records title with “Dynamite”.
Guinness World Records shared that they’ve now confirmed that “Dynamite” has earned the title of “Most simultaneous viewers for a music video on YouTube Premieres”. They won this title after the Music video premiere of BTS’s dynamite was watched by over 3 million viewers simultaneously.
Ever since the song Dynamite has been released last year in august 2020 by BTS, it has been smashing records left and right. The music video of dynamite has broken three world records at once. Those are the most-viewed YouTube video in 24 hours, the most-viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours by a K-Pop group, and the most viewed music video in 24 hours.
Now, on 16th March Guinness World Records has officially announced through their Twitter handle with the caption of calling it the worst kept secret in history, that BTS has broken another record. 3 million viewers tuned in simultaneously to watch the premiere of the Music video of Dynamite on YouTube. With 10 million views and 1 million likes within 20 min of the song’s debut.
The song Dynamite by BTS was released on August 21, 2021, and the music video garnered 101.1 million views 24 hours after its releases, according to YouTube reports. BTS also made history by becoming becomes the first Korean artist or band to reach number 1 on Billboard’s ‘Hot 100’ chart and they stayed at the number one spot for two consecutive weeks in September 2020. BTS also holds other Guinness World Records titles including best-selling album (South Korea), most viewers for a music concert live stream, most Twitter engagements, and more.
