iQoo 12 Leaks: Processor, RAM, and Display Details Surface Online Ahead of China Launch
Rumors are circulating about iQoo’s upcoming smartphone, the iQoo 12, which is expected to be launched in China. Leaked specifications regarding the phone’s processor, RAM, display, and other features have recently emerged on Weibo. According to a post by tipster Digital Chat Station, the iQoo 12 is rumored to be powered by Qualcomm’s yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The phone is also said to feature a triple rear camera setup, led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor.
The leaks further suggest that the iQoo 12 will sport a flat AMOLED display with a 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the device is expected to offer 100W fast charging support.
This smartphone is anticipated to serve as the successor to the iQoo 11 5G, which made its debut in India earlier this year. The iQoo 11 5G is available in two storage configurations: 8GB RAM + 256GB and 16GB RAM + 256GB. It features a 6.78-inch 2K E6 AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1,800 nits and a 144Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the iQoo 11 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM. It runs on Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13. The device incorporates a triple rear camera system consisting of a 50-megapixel ISOCELL GN5 primary sensor with OIS support, a 13-megapixel telephoto/portrait sensor, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfies, there is a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.
