Nokia is all set to launch its fastest smartphone ever, the Nokia G42 5G, in India today. The phone, which was unveiled globally last month, promises to deliver blazing-fast performance, long-lasting battery life, and a durable design. Design

The Nokia G42 5G has a sleek and elegant design that is also durable and sustainable. The phone has a back cover that is made of 65% recycled materials and is dust and splash resistant (IP52 rated). The phone has also undergone rigorous testing, being drop-tested for a total number of 14 sides, corners, edges, and faces and has undergone more than 2x drop tests compared to the G50 model.

The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone comes in two colours: So Grey and So Purple.

Display

The phone sports a 6.56-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1612 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and offers a brightness of up to 560 nits with brightness boost. The display also supports adaptive brightness, which automatically adjusts the screen brightness according to the ambient light.
