OnePlus Open: Price, Specifications, Launch Offers, and More

The OnePlus Open, the first foldable smartphone from OnePlus, is ready to hit the Indian market today. The smartphone was unveiled last week and is currently open for pre-order on the OnePlus official website. Before the first sale of the OnePlus Open, the company has released a software update to fix some of the issues that users have reported with the premium device.
The OnePlus Open features a 7.82-inch Flexi-fluid AMOLED display with a dynamic refresh rate that ranges from 1 to 120 Hz. The smartphone also has a 6.31-inch Super Fluid AMOLED cover display with a dynamic refresh rate that varies from 10 to 120 Hz.
The OnePlus Open is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with Adreno 740 GPU. The smartphone has 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 ROM. The smartphone has a 4,805 mAh Dual-cell battery that supports 67W SUPERVOOC Charging from OnePlus.
The OnePlus Open has a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 48 MP main camera with f/1.7 Sony LYT-T808 lens, a 48 MP ultra-wide camera and a 64 MP telephoto camera. The main camera has optical image stabilisation (OIS), HDR and EIS features.
The OnePlus Open also promises four years of Android operating system updates and five years of security patches.
The OnePlus Open is priced at ₹1,39,999 for the 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage option and comes in two colours – Emerald Dusk and Voyager Black.
The foldable smartphone is available for Pre-order now and will go on sale for the first time today.
OnePlus Open buyers can get an instant discount of ₹5000 on ICICI Bank and One Card transactions. The company also offers a ₹8,000 trade-in bonus on exchange of select smartphones.
The OnePlus Open competes with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, which is the leader in the foldable segment. Both the smartphones have the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and are similarly priced, with the Fold 5 starting at ₹1,54,999 for the 256GB storage variant.
