The Last of Us Part II is a 2020 action-adventure game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment released in 2020

Soon after the release of The Last of Us Remastered, Naughty Dog, developer began development on part two. It took six years to make the squeal. The Last of Us garnered much attention and positive reviews.

The much anticipated game The Last Of Us II sold more then 4 million copies in its releasing weekend, making it the fastest sold exclusive. It had the biggest launch of 2020 for both physical and digital sales.

The Last of Us had a multiplayer option that many players enjoyed. There were a few different game modes as well but The Last of Us Part 2 does not Have Multiplayer. 

Set five years after The Last of Us (2013), the game focuses on two playable characters in a post-apocalyptic US Ellie and Abby, a soldier who becomes involved in a conflict between her militia and a religious cult.

The Last of Us features a very unique, very distinct soundtrack, and composer Gustavo Santaolalla adopted some very interesting methods for that, such as using instruments he was unfamiliar with, in order to give the game’s music a vibe of “danger and innocence.” 

The reason the world of The Last of Us is gone because of  The Cordyceps fungus. It transforms humans into zombie-like creatures that are very aggressive. The infection spreads through a bite.

The developers, Straley and Druckmann got inspiration for their monsters in their game was from an episode of planet earth, apparently there is a real world called  Cordyceps fungi. It affects insects, growing out of the head and seizing control of motor functions.

The Last of Us II is an excellent game which has won many awards, its one of the masterpiece by Naughty Dog , a treat fro all The Last of Us fans.
